When she saw her portrait and didn’t like it. She felt like she could have did a better job. But she made it difficult for the painter because she was constantly moving. To prove herself, she painted a portrait of her sister and was very please with it. That’s when her love for art began. Lempicka’s art style was influenced by her two art teachers, Maurice Denis and Andreé Lhote. With the two styles, she combined post-symbolism with cubism making her the best portrait artist in Paris.
